Los Gatos Creek Trail

The Los Gatos Creek Trail follows the creek out of the canyon, past Forbes Mill and through Vasona, then on through Campbell to San Jose. Walk it, run it or ride it.

Discover Los Gatos Creek Trail

The main trail runs 9.7 miles from Lexington Reservoir through Campbell to Meridian Avenue in San Jose. Mile zero is just north of the trailhead on Alma Bridge Road at the dam. (Wikipedia)

Between the dam and downtown, the wide dirt trail on the west side of the creek follows the bed of the old South Pacific Coast Railroad. On the east side, the Jones and Flume trails lead toward Novitiate Park and St. Joseph’s Hill; the Flume Trail is for walkers only. (Wikipedia)

From Forbes Mill north the trail is paved. It crosses Highway 17 on its own bridge, runs through Oak Meadow and Vasona parks and passes the Netflix campus on the way to Campbell. (Wikipedia)

The creek itself runs 24 miles from near Loma Prieta to the Guadalupe River, and Chinook salmon now swim up it from the bay. (Wikipedia)
