Los Gatos newspapers

From the Los Gatos Weekly News of the early 1880s to today’s Los Gatan, the town has had its own papers, plus the public-access station KCAT.

Printer W. S. Walker started the Los Gatos Weekly News in the early 1880s after deciding Los Gatos had more future than Saratoga, and sold it in 1885. Later papers included the Mail-News, the Los Gatos Times and the online Los Gatos Observer.

Since 2021 the town has been served by the Los Gatan, in print and online, and since 1986 by KCAT TV-15, which streams the holiday parade.
